We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our clients distributor network and drive sales growth in the Eastern United States. This role is critical to the expansion of their orthopedic business, focusing on managing distributor relationships, achieving revenue targets, and increasing market share. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device or orthopedic sales, strong distributor management experience, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Distributor Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors in the Eastern region, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Train, support, and motivate distributor sales teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Monitor distributor performance, providing regular feedback and implementing strategies to address gaps or opportunities.
Sales Growth
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through distributor networks, including hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs), and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Collaborate with distributors to build strong relationships with surgeons, hospital administrators, and procurement teams.
Market Expansion
- Drive adoption of our innovative orthopedic products, including implants, instruments, and biologics, through distributor channels.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and build brand awareness.
Performance Metrics
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for the Eastern region.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales growth, distributor performance, and market penetration.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in medical device or orthopedic sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Previous experience managing distributor networks is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the orthopedic market, including joint reconstruction, sports medicine, and biologics.
