The Role
As part of its Global growth strategy, they are currently looking for a Business Development Manager to be based in Tokyo, Japan. You will be required to drive sales growth and market expansion across Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Build strong customer relationships, identify new market opportunities, and enhance brand presence in the orthodontic industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies for business expansion in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Identify new market opportunities and establish the company’s brand presence.
- Drive sales growth, meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Analyse market trends and competitive activities to refine strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry professionals.
- Provide exceptional customer support to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop longterm growth strategies.
- Promote the company’s reputation as a trusted partner in orthodontic care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or market expansion, ideally within the orthodontic, dental, or medical device industry.
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs in Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage key customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse data, trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Results-driven mindset, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills in a global business environment.
- Fluency in English (Japanese proficiency is a strong advantage)
